Shenandoah Wetland Bank

In 2000, Countryside undertook a completely new type of project, creating its own wetland mitigation bank. Wetland banks are self-sustaining aquatic systems, which replace natural wetlands in cases where impacts caused by development are unavoidable. The bank has been useful for our own projects and for other local developers, government agencies and institutions. The Shenandoah Wetland Bank has a service area stretching from Augusta to Frederick County and offers both wetland and stream credits. If you need to mitigate wetlands on your development project, farm or homesite, contact Drew Bagby - (540) 294-3653 - for information on government requirements and pricing information. Or you may contact the main office at 540-886-6155.
